Beyond House Training Dogs

December 31st, 2009

So, you have a new puppy. You’re excited and you already in love with the sweet little bundle.  Suddenly you realise, your puppy brings chaos into your home: she is chewing on your shoes, making a mess everywhere she goes and, the worst part, she is lacking good toilet manners. You know, you’re in trouble and you need some dog obedience tips very fast.

The obedience can be obtained through some very easy steps. Some dog obedience tips can be found with your local private dog training professional. They provide all the necessary information and tools to house train dogs, leash training for dogs and potty training your dog. Private dog training is a great source for professional help if you can fit it into your budget. Although they can be costly, the benefits of having private dog training far outweigh the costs.

After the behavior dog training has finished, you will be pretty happy with your dog not only following the basic commands but also with potty training your dog. Of course the later will require you to take your dog on a daily runs outside. Here you can take this challenge a step further and you may begin your canine’s agility training. Agility training for dogs has to do with lots of physical activities for your pet, which will keep your dog happy and healthy. Be prepared to get involved personally in those activates.

The wild canines experience natural problems like hunger and the need to hunt to soothe the hunger. They must hide to protect themselves when they are sick or hurt after a fight with another canine or another animal. This is their natural bahavior and this particular nature was inherited by your own domesticated dog. She still needs to run; she still needs to overcome natural hurdles. It is in her instinct. This is here, when you give your dog a helpful hand and start the agility training for dogs.

If you have made the decision of getting a dog, fulfil your obligations towards your pet and she will be truly your best friend.

Stop Drinking For Your Safety

December 29th, 2009

It usually begins with a first drink, and then one day you are addicted. That is where the problem begins: quitting. Because you thought it was easy, and it isn’t. So then you started all by yourself, now you have to bring in the doctor and all the pros. Well, the sooner you get on with it, the better off you are on the long run. And you know that that is what matters. Binge drinking never did anyone a lot of good. At best it takes away your money and sends you to an early grave. So you need find a way to stop. This is where you bring your doctor into the picture. What I’ll only admonish is that you make sure that this is one doctor who knows what they are doing. Anything short of that will not be in your best interest.

There are so many ways to stop drinking, and they all have times that they work and times that they fail. My suggestion is this: let the doctor tell which ones you need to try. Just be sure that you have the right doctor from the start. When you did up the history on some physicians and there are lawsuits in them, you know they might not be the ones for you. No matter how long you have been drinking, you begin to quit the very day you realize that you have a problem. Be under no illusion that is it a short walk though, because it isn’t. it is something that will challenge the very vestiges of your sanity, and will seem to you to drag on, and on, and on. If you are not mentally prepared for it, you will not get very far trying. That I can tell you with reasonable confidence.

Drinking is a bit like smoking, and a bit different. You can try to quit smoking with a patch on your skin that will make you not feel like it; with drinking I don’t think you get that lucky. So, I don’t know which is worse; I just think you should never have started either. But since you did, and now you find yourself in this condition, you seriously should not sit back and do nothing about it. The first step to stopping drinking is admitting that you have a problem, and that you need to solve that problem. From that day on, let that vision and realization be the factors that guide you. I have a feeling that they will be able to help you through the worst of the long and hard quit drinking process.

If I can stop drinking all of a sudden, I’m pretty certain so can you. We don’t all have to have the same abilities, but willpower is not something you are born with, it is something you bring upon yourself when the situation calls for it. I mean, I don’t know if I am a miracle worker or something. I used to do so many bottles of liqueur in a day that I could no longer walk. And one day, just like that, I decided I didn’t need it anymore. So these days when I hear people say they find it hard to quit, I think they can’t be serious. Starting drinking is easy. All you have to do is survive the first sip of the poison, the first choke that comes from it, and you are home free. Quitting drinking is another matter entirely. It can take anything from a week to a decade, depending on the determination of who wants to quit. As a matter of fact, it could happen overnight if there was enough incentive. And others could try their whole lives and fail. It’s just a matter of incentive.

However long you have been drinking, you can quit. There are people all over the place who have succeeded quitting. You can learn from them and follow their examples. Get in touch with them on websites all over the internet, or by signing up with anyone of the teeming organizations out there that are just in position to help you out of your stop drinking problems. You might not be a regular heavy drinker, but you could still be addicted to it. Rather than waste time checking to see how bad it is, just quit already. You might not know it, but this thing could take your family away from you… and indeed your life.

BK Hackett has been writing articles online for just about 10 years now. Not only does this source concentrate on stop drinking, you can also view his most up-to-date website on Folding Table Chairs and Folding Lawn Chairs

Fat burning furnace scam - is it true or myth?

December 29th, 2009

There has been lot of rumors in the online market that the fat burning furnace ebook by Rob Poulos is not as effective as it claims to be. But, thankfully, there are large number of users of the program and getting all the benefits of the fat burning furnace secrets.

The verdict is in the favor of the program, which proves that it is a myth and wrong perception, spread by the rival diet product owners probably, that the program of fat burning furnace is a scam. Rather, there are no such shortcomings in the plan, and it really helps quite well to burn fat. I found after a detailed on line research that this is best fat loss product.

Now-a-days the number of obese people is constantly on a rise. There are several reasons for this. Due to immense work pressure, people neglect health aspects, and slowly get use to unhealthy habits incorrect food habits, lack of rest and reduced sleeping hours. All such issues are leading to the problem of overweight. Fat burning furnace secrets are showing up as blessing to these people who are evidencing the advantages through routine adaptation of the guidelines.

Why fat burning furnace complaints are still coming up despite of many success stories of the program? There is a section of people who think fat burning furnace as a scam because its creator, Rob Poulos, is not an expert in nutrition or an experienced trainer. Despite serving thousands of customers with a successful solution, such claims make no sense.

There is a program for fat burning furnace exercises, which claims to reduce fats with only twenty minutes of routine exercise. On top of that, it states that there is no need to exercise everyday, only two or three days in a week is sufficient. This is great in fact, especially for those who do not have that much time for working out everyday. But, this small duration of exercise period have also triggered question relating to the efficacy of the fat burning furnace truth. The fact is that fat burning furnace recommends short duration work out regime, but that

short period is quite concentrated on the procedure, which results in fast burning of fats.

A desired result of effective fat burning is impossible without proper nutrition. Therefore, teaches your diet for quick fat loss. However, it doesn’t mean departure from delicious foods. Collection of delicious dishes are also featured in the fat burning furnace ebook. All these factors show that fat burning furnace is not a scam, and it definitely provides effective techniques to burn the fat.

Turn Your Big Day into an Astounding Event by Finding the Right Wedding Rings

December 28th, 2009

Weddings aren’t called the ‘big day’ for nothing.  You may be part of a couple, but people still say that the event is more special for the bride. This is precisely why as a groom, it is your responsibility to ensure that your wedding day is very special for your bride. Part of the things that you should oversee is choosing the best wedding rings which will symbolize your union as a couple. Fortunately you have many choices so it is up to you to find the right wedding band design which should also be available at the right price.

Wedding Rings with History and Value

If you’re a groom who wants to get the bride a very special wedding ring, you should be ready to pay the price.  For instance, you can get your bride an antique diamond ring on your big day.  Antique wedding rings gain value the older they get. For instance, jewelry from the Victorian era are said to have been worn by royalty. Such history will add a certain amount of prestige to owning an antique wedding ring.  These are the reasons why it would surely be appreciated by your bride, especially if she loves jewelry so much. However you should have a bigger budget if you plan to give your bride an antique wedding ring. You should also buy from a trusted jeweler to make sure that you are getting what you’re paying for.  Finally, you should have the ring appraised so you will know how much it’s really worth paying for.

Hip & Modern Wedding Rings

One type of wedding ring which is gaining popularity these days due to its style are ones which are made from white gold.  If you want to give your bride a non-traditional wedding band, you may want to give her white gold wedding rings instead.  It would even be good for you if you are not the type who wears a lot of jewelry.  You would not be very conscious about it since it will easily blend with any outfit that you have on. On the other hand, your bride would love creating different looks with the type of wedding band that you will choose. She can even have a wedding band with diamonds or other gemstones, it is possible as long as you stay with your budget.

Affordable Wedding Rings do not have to Look Cheap

Whatever type of metal your wedding rings are made of, it is possible to find cheap wedding rings. You won’t even have to suffer from wearing low-quality wedding rings. If you go online, online sellers can afford to sell cheap wedding rings because they do not have brick-and-mortar store to maintain. It is also possible for you to wait for clearance sales so that you will get good quality wedding rings at great discounts. All you really need to do is to look for wedding rings early so you will find the right stores and the perfect rings – just in time for your wedding.

A Successful Camping Trip is in the Checklists

December 28th, 2009

Camping is one of the most rewarding family activities. Oh, the kids will complain, at first, but if you camp in one of the national or state parks and hike a little to get a unique view of the scenery and participate together in outdoor activities they will get over it quickly. The memories will last forever. You can generate interest in an upcoming camping trip by getting everybody involved in the planning. Make checklists. Lots of checklists. And check them twice. When you are 30 miles from the nearest store you must do without anything that you did not bring along. Good planning can make your camping trip comfortable. Be sure your camping gear checklist includes things like coleman 8 depending on how many people are going and how long your stay.

Next to making sure that you have the right camping gear to keep everybody dry and warm, serving up good eats three times a day will make or break your outdoor adventure. You start off with an advantage because our DNA determines that everything cooked outdoors will taste better even when prepared exactly the same way as home. Maybe there is genetic memory from a time that having anything to eat at all is a good experience. You need heat to cook. The more BTU the better. Forget about campfire cooking. You only burn the food and yourself. Make sure there is a dual fuel stove on your camping gear checklist, or something just like it. Most camping stoves are powered by propane or liquid fuel. Double the amount of fuel that you think you may need. Just to be sure.

One outdoor activity that is guaranteed to be a hit with the entire family is target shooting with a BB gun pistol or rifle. Preferably both. BB guns are not toys and require adult supervision and responsible handling. A camping trip is an excellent time to gain some practical experience with guns, and to teach the kids how to safely handle a real firearm. There are many makes and models of BB guns such as the crosman air rifle. You can get nearly exact replicas by weight and size of some famous hand guns. Set up a few paper targets or some soda cans to plink at and you can spend an entire enjoyable afternoon at the range.

Benefits of Shopping Online

December 28th, 2009

Sometimes you just know what you want; Like the perfect little black dress for the office evening do. And sometimes knowing what you want makes it almost impossible to find. I wonder how many of us have wandered in and out of countless stores at the mall looking for that special pair of shoes to match that amazing pant suit. We may know exactly what style, color, type, make, even price of shoe we want. And yet we still cannot find them! Why not? We’re not asking for the world, are we?

Well, maybe. Sometimes knowing exactly what you want closes your mind to alternatives and can be your downfall.

So rather than grinding yourself down into a nervous state of exhaustion, why not try shopping online?

Buying online is a great alternative to buying in a physical store at the mall. Many stores these days also have online presences, and this means that you can scour the web for that perfect item, all from the comfort of, well, wherever you usually surf the web from!

And because of their lower overheads, online stores are often able to give you the best prices for items which are often offered at a higher price at the mall!

So shopping online means you can find exactly what you are looking for, and often at a bargain price compared to what it would have cost offline! Perfect!

If you are looking for sublime 14k white gold hoop earrings at affordable prices, or maybe a choice of artisan designed, hand crafted unique rose gold jewelry or a wide selection of white pearl earrings in a wide range of styles, please follow the links.

Carpet Cleaning Machines

December 27th, 2009

carpet cleaners clean a carpet without using a liquid detergent. It is mostly used to wash carpets that are made from fine fibers, because it prohibits moisture build up and damage to the carpet. The solution utilized in a dry carpet-cleaning machine is a powder-based substance that is sprinkled or sprayed on the carpet evenly, left to dry and then vacuumed to remove the dust.

Any time you employ a Dry cleaning carpet machine ; you should always vacuum your carpet first. If there is a wet spill on the carpet, ensure that it is dried before using the machine. A wet spot can stop the machine from working properly and prevent the cleaning solution from working properly. The entire concept of a dry carpet cleaner is that it uses low moisture to clean. The cleaning agent is only a 10% water mix. This eliminates the problem of over wetting the carpet and there’s no need to worry about shrinkage, buckling or mould. The dry carpet cleaning method works much faster than hot water cleaning, and the detergent are environmentally safe. Dry carpet cleaning is one of the safest ways to clean a carpet. Dirt is sucked into the machine and the carpet is cleaned in an effectual manner with less of a mess. The cleaner has various attachments including brushes, foams, sprays, powders, for example. It is safe to use on most fiber carpets and it is amazingly strong. The circular motion of the vacuum tank extracts the hardest dirt and is awfully effective in heavy traffic areas like living rooms and dens.

Career Choices

December 27th, 2009

Deciding on a career the first time around is kind of tough. Many people who strike us as normal, rational adults are pretty impulsive as teens. No matter how many career assessment tests we are forced to take or how often we have to meet with career counselors, many of us are just too stubborn when we are young. We can’t make the right career choice because we can’t even think half an hour ahead. Some people are lucky and blessed with an even temperament, but for everyone else, choosing a career can be really difficult.

Our society gives us the freedom to choose something different in the future if we wish to. It simply is not possible for everyone to make the right career choice the first time around. Most people change careers later on in life. What separates the winners from the losers isn’t never making mistakes. It is being willing to learn from your mistakes and move on. It does not matter how long you have been in your current career if you are unhappy with your career choice. It is never too late to pursue other interests when it comes to what you enjoy doing.

Some people have a very easy time making new career choices. A lot of folks are pressured into a particular field by their parents, only to find out that it was the wrong idea for them all the time. For them, it is just a matter of getting up the courage to go and make the right choice this time. If you are in this situation, try to psyche yourself up by imagining all the wonderful possibilities that await you once you complete your new career change. If you have the chance to, talk to some people in the career that you are looking to get involved in. These strategies will make it easier for you to get the motivation you need to choose a new career. Some people do not have a clue how to decide on a new career.

The feeling of uneasiness in their current field does not motivate them to pursue a new career. If you are in this position, there are still many things you can do. A career assessment test is one of the most commonly recommended ways to find new career choices. It can tell you what you’re good at, what you are interested in, and even recommend ways to get from here to there. If this does not work, you can always go to see a professional career counselor.

Investing in a Rear Projection TV

December 26th, 2009

Rear projection televisions are sometimes advertized as RPTVs and are often a popular pick for those who want a large screen TV.  The manufacturers which are currently producing rear projection televisions have narrowed down to JVC, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, RCA, Hitachi and Sony.  Although some television manufacturers have quit making RPTVs in favor of the higher priced, LCD flat panel televisions, the manufacturers who presist are making use of the newer advancements developed for rear projection televisions

As of this writing, manufacturers are employing three perfectly usable forms of rear projection televisions.  These are those that use CRT technology (small cathode ray tubes), LCD projector technology and digital light processing.  There are strengths and weaknesses in employing each of the RPTV technologies, but an increasing number of rear projection televisions are now manufactured to incorporate either an LCD projector lamp or digital light processing.

Rear projection televisions are ideal for large screen TVs since RPTVs will deliver a clear projection that is not distorted.  Before around 2004, the current CRT rear projection televisions had been highly chosen by consumers primarily since they projected state of the art images and sounds, while still being less expensive.  Most customers sought RPTVs over the LCD flat panel televisions since they were much lower priced, even though rear projection units were not able to be suspended from the wall like an LCD TV.

The idea behind rear projection televisions is for them to take a tiny movie by means of a digital video signal, then increase the size of that picture to fill the screen.  Rear projection televisions are well suited to recieve this type of signal so it can provide a crisper display than an ordinary television.

On top of receiving a state of the art image and excellent sound with a reasonably priced television, many consumers who own the rear projection televisions like them once they realize that RPTVs offer a digital picture.  Digital signals are scheduled to be the exclusive signal used by TV stations after the summer of 2009, and some television stations have already stopped using analog signals.  Many customers will learn that a person will be able to purchase a new, digital ready home theater unit and spend no more than the amount it would cost to buy a digital converter box.  This is another attractive advantage to the rear projection televisions.

Even though these units are not as slender as LCD units, today’s rear projection televisions will be substantially more slender and more lightweight than recently manufactured RPTVs.  Even though LCD televisions have some superiority because of the flat screen, many customers feel that rear projection televisions incorporate a larger number of viewing angles, especially those which employ a CRT projector.  CRT rear projection televisions routinely are very long lasting as well on account of rear projection technology has come into its maturity during the past several years.

The DLP rear projection TV’s deliver state of the art pictures and a thinner appliance than the CRT projected televisions and are apparently the coming standard for rear projection home theater systems.  DLP technology will offer a better viewing angle and a DMD chip which may be easy for owners to replace, contained in a home theater unit that is comparitively slender and produces remarkable picture and sound quality.  If you are seeking rear projection televisions, you ought to focus on those that are currently using DLP technology.

Mountain Bikes Buying Guide

December 26th, 2009

How to choose a mountain bike depends on how you are going to use it, if all you want your new mountain bike for is going for a ride in the woods with the dog or a nice leisurely ride on the canal path you wont need a full suspension mountain bike with 10cm travel on the forks and a fully articulated rear end with damping and rebound control.

How to Begin.

If you do want to go for an easy ride in the park you do not need to spend a lot, if you think you will go riding off road then big tread tires maybe all you need, but if you think you might try some rough stuff then you will need suspension.

Gears will probably be Shimano, brakes must be V-brakes, but could be made by a few different manufacturers, all the rest of the MTB components will depend on how much you can spend. If you go to your local bike shop or big sports store and see what they’ve got to offer, then buy it or have look on the Internet and maybe you’ll,you will find the same thing at a better price.

The Next Step Up.

So maybe you want to be a bit more adventurous, more off-road, more forest tracks and dry boulder river beds, then you’ll need something a little lighter, with suspension forks. All this will cost you more money, but will be worth it for the extra enjoyment and adventure. With a better mountain bike it will have a sportier handling and because it is lighter, it will be easier to struggle up the hills before you come flying down the other side. The components will again be Shimano and the quality will depend on how much money you can spend. V-brakes and Rapid-fire gear shifters, along with Shimano chain set, bottom bracket and headset. Handle bars, stem and seat pin should be alloy and along with a comfortable saddle you will be set to take to the hills.

More Bike - More Money

The next rung up on the mountain bike ladder would be good enough to race on. There are many to choose from, get on the net and surf the bike manufacturers sites and all the shop sites along with the magazines for juicy photos of the bikes.

The top manufacturers in this price range, I would say are: - Specialized, Trek, Giant and Cannondale, these companies make the nicest frames with the best mountain bike parts available at the price, gears will be either Shimano or SRAM, brakes could be V-brakes or cable disc brakes, both are very good and light, most of the other MTB parts, of course will be Shimano and as usual get the best you can afford. There are many combinations of hubs and rims to make up your wheels; hubs from Shimano and rims form Mavic are the usual mix. Then you have to choose which suspension forks to put on you bike, you may not get a choice, depending on which bike you buy, the main ones are Suntour, Marzocchi, Manitou, Fox, RST and RockShox Boxxer forks buy any of these and you will not go far wrong.

Get Great Tans All The Time With 26 Bulb Tanning Beds

December 26th, 2009

26 bulb tanning beds are great options for people who are looking for convenience of an all-around tan right in their own home. There are of course many different types of tanning beds to choose from in the market today, with numerous variances with regard to shape, size, and power. Of course the power of a particular tanning bed is dependent on the number of bulbs it contains–and the strength of the bulbs of course–and 26 bulb tanning beds present a good balance of power and energy efficiency. This makes the 26 bulb tanning bed ideally suited for both commercial and home usage.

Almost everyone of us would like to have a great looking tan, although of course not everyone has the time or opportunity to go into a tanning salon where they live. For people who aren’t quite as lucky as those who have a great tanning salon right in their own city, tanning beds are the next best option.

Of course the number of bulbs in your tanning beds isn’t the only consideration when shopping for one. As mentioned earlier, you also have to consider the strength of the bulbs in it. This is typically measured in watts, with most bulbs used in tanning beds measuring 100 watts or 160 watts. All things being equal, a 160 W bulb will give you a deeper tan much quicker than a 100 W bulb will.

Wattage isn’t the only concern either. You’ll also want to find out if your 26 bulb tanning beds have a reflector built into it. Such devices will greatly enhance the tanning power of a bulb. In fact, a 100 W bulb that is fitted with a reflector will give you more tanning power than even a 160 W bulb that doesn’t come with a reflector.

Finally, there is the number of bulbs to consider. Some of the more portable tanning beds on the market may have as few as four bulbs. The tanning beds intended for use in commercial establishments may have as many as 50 bulbs and even more. As you can see, this places 26 bulb tanning beds right in the middle as far as tanning power is concerned. That being said, a 26 bulb tanning bed with 160 W bulbs and suitable reflectors built-in will give you better tan than a 42 bulb tanning bed with a 100 W bulbs and no reflectors.

As you can see, there are quite a few factors to consider when making a choice between the different tanning beds in the market. You would do well to familiarize yourself with the different models available in order to get the best possible value for your money. Do your shopping carefully and compare the different models of tanning beds thoroughly, and you can be sure to get one that is ideally suited for your needs.

The Dell Inspiron 910 Mini Experience

December 25th, 2009

That’s the experience with the Inspiron 910 Mini not the mini-experience! Well I am in web design and have been toying with the idea of getting a more lightweight laptop as my old Dell Inspiron from 2003 is as heavy as a brick. My step dad just bought a top of the range Toshiba Portege at around £1,200, but he’s at that time in life where 1,200 quid is affordable, where as I’m still in financial recovery from my last divorce (yes there was more than one!)! So I happened across the Dell Inspiron 910 Mini on the Dell website whilst looking at specs of normal laptops to use when out and about demonstrating our CMS system to potential clients, wow £299 inc VAT and delivery that is a bargain!

There I was credit card at the ready, wrist twitching, hang on I thought, why am I buying this, do I really need it? No, I don’t NEED it I just WANT ONE . [Puts credit card away]

The next day I happen to have to work on my step Dads’ ultra lightweight new laptop, wow this is lush, so light, I wish I could afford one.

The next day I had to go to a clients with my laptop, and about put my back out trying to put it in the car passenger foot well whilst sitting in the drivers’ seat, hmm decided I do have a NEED for the new dell Inspiron mini after all! It only weights around 1kg. So as I had a management meeting that afternoon I informed my finance manager I would be ordering one and that was that. So Friday October 3rd I placed the order on the Dell website, and on the 8th I got back from a meeting at the offices of the guys who look after Xbox hard drive price website to find a Dell cardboard box on my desk, I thought it couldn’t possibly be the new mini as the confirmation email I got said it would arrive on or around the 20th October, but sure enough it really had arrived.

Well I was ecstatic and got it out and started setting it up straight away, you know remove Dell Support Centre and install Avast Anti Virus, that kind of thing. As it has an integrated web cam I also downloaded Windows Live Messenger and had a quick video chat with my girlfriend whilst she was doing her ironing, fantastic!

So I googled ‘mobile broadband suppliers’ and toyed with ordering the USB dongle from Three, as their 5GB monthly allowance is only 15 quid a month so the best looking deal, providing those coverage stories you hear about Three Mobile are not really true!

Anyway, it was soon time to go and get my daughter from school so I thought yeah I’ll take it with me and even though I don’t have the mobile broadband USB Modem yet I can continue configuring it in car park if I’m early. I was early, so I turned it on, it said:

Windows could not start because of an error in the software.
Please report this problem as :
load needed DLLs for kernel.
Please contact your support person to report this problem

As we say in England “Computer says no…”

Ah dear, it was great fun whilst it lasted, then followed a 2 and a half hour telethon with Dell support in India :-) Apparently they were so quick to ship it to me that my service tag isn’t on their system yet. They suggested I called back in 24-48 hours, well I explained to them exactly what I thought of their suggestion as I’m sure you can image, but to no avail. I did indeed have to call back today and they have agreed to send me a replacement unit as it is within 7 days of delivery.

I hope the replacement arrives as promptly as the original unit did…

So conclusion? Apart from the fact it doesn’t work (a faulty drive in my opinion) and for the life of me I can’t get it to boot from an external drive or USB key (it doesn’t have a CD or DVD drive you know) it feels really solid, looks lovely, and is nice to handle (sounds a bit like the ideal partner to an i-phone 2.0 doesn’t it!).

Like most reviewers have stated , the keys are small (but blackberry users manage and they are larger than those keys) and the right shift key is tiny and means you can’t type an @ in the usual fashion and I wonder how it’s going to cope with all the complicated keyboard stuff it has to do when I lend it to a client like the ones running their stop pop-up windows site. The screen is nice though, 3 USB slots, a monitor connector, Ethernet and earphones and mic connectors although it has both speakers and mic internally so you can Live Messenger and both speak and listen through the inbuilt hardware without having to plug anything in.

On the whole, I would recommend it, providing you get one that isn’t broken ! I am also yet to try it with LogMeIn which is my preferred way of dealing with how to access emails, lots of passwords, specialist software and all that kind of thing when you are out and about. Possibly the screen is going to be too small to be able to work with for extended periods of time, but I’ll let you know when the replacement arrives and I have had chance to give it a proper testing, assuming that one doesn’t break on me as soon as I start urm ‘configuring’ it!

Groom Wedding Speech

December 25th, 2009

The wedding service has concluded and the reception celebration has got off ot a good start. Shortly, as the bridegroom, you will have to get up and render a groom wedding speech that will be honest as well as amusing and absorbing to listen to. How you go about preparing your words is essential as you’ll have to keep everyone happy including your groom, her mother and father, your mother and father, and all your guests and wedding attendees. If you have done all required of you to the book, you should have already had the chance to get some practice in when you delivered that impressive dry run dinner speech, something bridegrooms are traditionally supposed to do.

Your turn to speak is normally after both sets of parents and step-parents, if any, have spoken and before the best man wedding speech. Although there are elements that are believed to be the fundamental principles for the groom wedding speech, you can put your individual spin or impact on them to make it extraordinary. First off, thank your mother and father for all their support, counsel, and love and support they’ve given you up to this point. Next it’s time to give thanks to your wife’s parents for giving you their daughter and right away after that, you ought to turn to your groom, toast her, and talk about matters like how you got together, why you knew she was the one, then drink to her for hooking up with you, and any other matter you feel is important to say about her, that you know your invitees will be entertained to hear, especially her mom, dad and family.

Once you have raised your glass to your bridegroom, thank all your guests, best man, the bride’s attendants, and all the other individuals who assisted to create your wedding day memorable. If there are special individuals, like maybe your new sister-in-law who produced all the favors, don’t forget to thank her individually. It is very helpful to have a list of the individuals you need to give thanks to during your address, so you don’t miss anyone. There’s no need to of necessity write a speech, but you’ll probably be a bit nervous so writing names on cards is completely suitable for comfort in recalling everybody during your bridegroom wedding speech.

Your address does not have to be long because there will be other people who will desire to salute you both and say some words. The manner of your speech should not be one thank you after another either. When thanking people, such as her mother and father, say thank you, but incorporate something else in your thanks like, “Tom and Sally were so instrumental and encouraging through the wedding planning phase - something I am so appreciative of for.” Articulating 1 or 2 lines to the individual or individuals you are giving thanks to other than just the “thank you” will guarantee a good bridegroom wedding speech. Last, some brides select not to speak at the wedding reception as it is not absolutely necessary. If your bride does not care to speak, when you do give thanks to individuals, make certain you utilize the word we instead of I, when giving thanks to everyone. Your groom wedding speech can be perfect, intimate, and responsive if you keep these points in mind when organizing your address.

Writing Customer Satisfaction Surveys that Work

December 25th, 2009

Why should you bother?

Good customer service is the life blood of any business. New customers are important but good customer service will help generate customer loyalty and repeat business. With every satisfied customer your business is likely to go on and secure many more customers through recommendations and if you do not take proper care of your customers there is probably a competitor waiting in the wings that will.

A customer satisfaction survey will help by not only identifying problem areas but show that you care and are proactive in looking for ways to improve the service that you provide.

Where to start?

Objective - Before you start compiling your survey consider what the objectives of the survey are, in that way you will remain focused and find it easier to decide what questions to ask.

Analysis - Once the survey has been completed consider how you will analyse the answers.

Keep in mind that ‘closed’ questions (where a respondent is asked to choose from a limited number of responses) are much easier to analyze than ‘open’ questions (where the respondent can reply in anyway they want).

A lot will depend on the likely volume of respondents, the higher the volume the more important it is to have an easy method of analysing the results.

Opportunity – As well as obtaining valuable market research data keep in mind that customer surveys are also a good way to advertise areas of your service that your customers may not be aware of.

Before you publish the survey confirm that the questions you have asked will provide you with market research data that when analyzed will help you make informed decisions.

Then, read through the survey from a marketing view point, check that you have phrased each question so that every opportunity has been taken to promote your business?

The ideal question will perform the following three functions:-

  • Market research - provide valuable feedback to help you improve your customer satisfaction levels and in turn your business
  • Marketing - promote aspects of your business
  • Information/Education - advertise a service that you provide that your customers may not have been unaware of

For example:- Do you find the in-store baby changing facilities useful?

In asking this question the store will hopefully not only receive useful feedback on the baby changing facility but they will also promote the store as being a child-friendly and caring store even to those the customers who do not actually require the facility.

Warts and all – to benefit most from a customer survey you need to avoid the temptation, in any way, of attempting to sugar coat the survey.

A customer satisfaction survey should be designed to identify any problem areas so that they can be fixed; conducting regular customer satisfaction will help prevent complacency and will also give early warning on where you may be losing business to your competitors initiatives.

What are the questions you should ask?

Each business is likely to have unique factors in relation to providing good customer services however there are common areas that are going to be relevant to all businesses be they a physical store, online store or a service industry. The following are key areas to providing good customer service.

Communication - Are you proactive in making it easy for the customer to communicate with you?

When a customer telephones is their call answered promptly; are enquiries about products or services handled properly? A good business will make every effort to ensure that whatever the customers query it is resolved by the right person, politely, quickly and fairly.

If customers reported problems that cannot be resolvable immediately do you promise to respond in a given time period and do you deliver on your promise?

Use a customer satisfaction survey to check that all your employees are perceived by your customers as being helpful, courteous and knowledgeable.

Location – Do your customers find it easy to visit you, if a physical bricks and mortar store, is it conveniently located with good access?

Making it pleasant, making it easy - For an online business it is important to ensure that your website is easy to use and aesthetically pleasing.

Regardless of the store being a bricks and mortar or purely online web based store, is the store properly laid out and can your customers find what they need and is there sufficient detailed information and help on hand to explain how a particular product works?

The right quality products – Not only should you measure the quality of the service that you provide but you should check that the products and services that you market are what the customer wants and closely match their expectations.

Value for money – Cheap or expensive is not always a good measure, value for money is.

Do your current customers consider the products you sell or the services you provide as value for money, if not, why not?

Speed and attention – The majority of customers will want to be dealt with quickly but attentively.

Are you doing everything you can to avoid delays?

Good businesses will try to treat each customer as an individual, does yours? Attention is important but so is a quick and satisfactory resolution of the query.

Demographics and Specific issues – Take the opportunity to profile your customers, for example where do they live and what is their age group?

Understand your customers more and you will be able to better target your business.

Within the survey encourage customers to highlight any problems and provide contact details so that their concerns can be investigated and followed up.

What next?

Having completed the survey analyze the results.

Trends – Identify common and specific areas where the customer service is failing.

Ask yourself honestly if any criticism that you receive is valid and if there anything that can be done to resolve or minimise the problem?

Training – Are all employees properly trained and do they have sufficient knowledge?

Where customer service training programs have been implemented have they had the desired effect and improved the customer experience?

Follow-up – If a customer who has completed a survey has raised a specific issue ensure that they are contacted and their complaint addressed.

Do not lose a customer by squandering an opportunity to resolve a problem.

Continuously Monitor - Make changes based on the survey results and then re-measure by issuing follow up surveys.

If you are concerned about customer satisfaction and would like to view a sample survey for a store that will demonstrate some of the above advice please view the Sample Customer Survey

Three Reasons to Reconsider a Sports Car Purchase

December 24th, 2009

The idea of buying a sports car is amazingly attractive to many people. One may be entranced the fun to be had driving a high-performance vehicle on winding roads or the excitement of zipping past traffic with great acceleration and maneuverability. Sports cars also seduce potential buyers with their beautiful styling and graceful lines. However, purchasing a sports car is not for everyone.

There are at least three reasons one may want to steer clear of purchasing a sports car. Although none of these reasons are absolute reasons for avoiding a sports car purchase, they are factors that should be considered by any smart consumer considering a high-performance vehicle.

Up-front Cost

Sports cars, by their very nature, tend to cost more than standard production models. The high-performance parts and cutting edge styling do not come cheap! One can anticipate spending a considerable sum for a sports car when cheaper vehicular alternatives are readily available.

Most new cars are financed, which means the cost differential between a new sports car and another more traditional automobile model will grow over time. A difference of several thousand dollars in initial purchase price can be functionally multiplied over the life of a financed purchase. This difference in cost should be fully considered by any prospective sports car buyer.

Maintenance Cost

Although sports cars are increasingly reliable, they still tend to cost more to maintain than other options. Sports cars often make use of less commonly available parts, which increase repair costs. Their carefully tuned high-performance engines also tend to require more adjustment and tighter maintenance schedules than their more utilitarian brethren.

Over the life a sports car, one can expect to spend a great deal more for repair and maintenance than they might with any number of other options. Exotic parts, frequent tune-ups, expensive technicians and other factors can combine to create maintenance costs far in excess to those of the traditional auto.

Financial issues are not always an important factor. There are those who can afford the costs associated with a sports car and will happily do so in order to drive a sleek, high-performance vehicle. For many, however, the higher purchase and maintenance costs are a reason to avoid the purchase of a sports car.

Utility

There is no question that sports cars are a thing of beauty. They also tend to offer performance levels to which regular cars can only aspire. However, if there is a non-financial downside to a sports car it is most certainly their limited utility. If you plan to ever transport more than one person and a few bags of groceries, a sports car is likely to fall short of your needs. Generally, even those sports cars with back seats only offer limited space that is unlikely to be comfortable even for a child. Trunks are usually tiny and even the driver and passenger quarters can be cramped. Remember, sports cars are built with a focus on performance, not on comfort.

As an everyday vehicle, the sports car’s utility shortfall makes it a potentially unwise choice. We tend to use our cars a great deal and often require a lot of function and flexibility in our transportation that sports cars simply cannot provide.

Anyone considering the purchase of a sports car should be certain the pitfalls associated with their ownership will not make their decision regrettable.

There are those for whom a sports car makes perfect sense. As an additional hobby car for the financially secure, for instance, a sports car may be perfect. But for many drivers, cost and utility issues more than trump the wonderful upside of sports car ownership.

Using Of Wrinkle Creams, You Can Look Young Into Your Old Age

December 24th, 2009

Looking good has always been important. Take a look back at Victorian times, those with the younger looking face and skin were always rich and had power. It has not changed in today’s society, if you look younger you make more money and you do better in your chosen profession.

It is a shame that aging can first be seen in our faces. Our face is the most obvious part of our body, and people judge you by how you look. Little lines and wrinkles appear sooner then you want, and become deep wrinkles in a very short amount of time. People who are very aware of how they look decide that they will use a concoction of lotions and creams to try to stave off aging. However, many of these products just do not work.

If you are in a job that requires you to look young, you feel the pressure more than the rest of us. Jobs such as movie star or receptionist value those who look young, so keeping your face looking younger for longer is in your best interest.

There are no cures for wrinkles. Trying to hide wrinkles is your best bet in getting rid of them. Since aging is not reversible, prevention is your best bet. Applying a wrinkle cream before wrinkles start showing up or just as they do start showing up will make you look younger for longer. You can keep your glowing face into your old age with a simple application of lotion every day.

A wrinkle cream with its moisturizing quality temporarily hides the wrinkle lines on the face. A combination of materials like oils with less fat content, collagen and oxides of silicon with smaller molecular used in the cream cover the wrinkle lines and make them invisible.

Anti aging creams is the best bet if you want to try and soften those deeper wrinkles, but choosing the right one can be tricky. They have miniscule solids which help to remove the dead tissue and then moisturize using a mixture of different products.

Experts out there have advice to those looking for anti wrinkle creams. Look for ones with high Vitamin concentrations of A, C, E and B3. They will help add some glow to your skin by improving naturally occurring vitamins in your skin. Also look for alpha hydroxy acid, which will assist in the removal of dead skin cells. It is also advised that you get an anti wrinkle cream with both UVA and UVB rays. Using a cream that has these ingredients on a consistent basis will keep your age glowing into your old age.

Before using any such products it is better to consult a skin specialist and then proceed. There are various types of skin creams flooded in the market and some of them may work on your type of skin. In case a particular cream does not make a positive effect on you skin, then you can try another combination after medical consultation. Since face is an important part of our body, we need to take all precautions before selecting a cream for its nourishment.

Jen Hopkins has worked in the anti wrinkle skin care product industry for years. She maintains websites about wrinkle cream and wrinkles treatment. If you want to contact her, you can use the contact form at one of her sites.

There are branded natural foods available, but it is always advisable to talk to your vetereinary consultant before changing your dog’s diet, just to be on the safe side.

Every pet owner wants his dog to have a glossy healthy coat, clean teeth and good breath, and clear eyes. The benefit of natural dog food is that it will will contribute to all of these, while ensuring fewer visits to the vet.

When using home recipes to make your own natural dog food, you should avoid using cream, ice cream, fatty foods, and raw pork. These foods can cause indigestion and other diseases. Junk food should also be avoided.

In all cases, consult your veterinary consultant concerning your dog’s proposed natural dog food diet.
